As design manager, I collaborated with our project manager (Mandy Woo), the Redfin engineering team, and a 3rd-party frontend team in Australia to launch an automated marketing platform. It was a huge global team effort!
Marketing Tools allows agents to quickly create brand assets for any listing on Redfin. While managing brand designers, I led meetings with our frontend integration partner (Desygner) and Redfin's backend engineering team. My focus was to create a frictionless UX for Redfin agents to make their own marketing materials.
I led alpha user testing with Redfin agents via interviews and a Slack channel. I synthesized the feedback into a prioritized list and met weekly with our integration partner. I also handled the content design of the product, including a user guide published on Redfin's internal wiki to help agents understand how to use it.
Instead of agents submitting requests into a design queue, they could create their own marketing materials.
For digital and social images, this meant reducing production times from 2 days to under 10 minutes. For print designs, materials could be now be delivered to agents in 2-3 days instead of a week or longer.
